Parents
We believe it is important to keep parents informed and involved in the academic progress of their children. Parents can sign into our custom online education management system to check the event calendar, course outlines and homework calendar. Alternatively, parents can keep informed about activities through our very active Facebook account.
Parent Volunteering
Parents and guardians of students at Joan of Arc Academy take part in school life through volunteer activities. Their diverse backgrounds give the school a wealth of experience from which to draw. Each family volunteers at least 15 hours of their time to school activities annually or pays a volunteer service fee. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
After School Program

We understand the demands of work. That’s why we offer an excellent after-school program, open from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The girls are supervised by bilingual staff. Should they choose to do homework, our staff is ready to provide support with all subjects including French. The girls may also choose to take part in other extra-curricular activities such as dance, art and crafts, and musical theatre. Moreover, we offer a PD Day program which allows girls to spend the day at school enjoying similar extra-curricular activities. Students are also supervised at Joan of Arc from 8 am every day.
Summer Camp 2022

Boys and girls aged 4 to 12 are invited to join us for eight (8) weeks of themed activities on the beautiful grounds of the school. Our Summer Camp Program is offered entirely in French making us a unique offering in the Ottawa region. For more details and to register, email summercamps@joanofarcacademy.com.
Please note that all registration is done online. We have very limited spaces, sign up soon!

All Academy students must arrive at school in uniform and wear the uniform at all times at school and during field trips, unless advised otherwise. Students in Junior Kindergarten to grade 5 cannot change before leaving the Academy, unless parents are present to supervise. Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 may change before leaving school, at the end of the day only.
